Some places are more than a point on a map. They're where you grew up, raised a family, went to school, met someone special, or simply found a place that feels like home. Hartsock Design Works transforms those meaningful places into handcrafted layered wood artwork made specifically for you.

Each map is individually designed around your chosen location and created using layered, laser-cut and laser-engraved wood. Streets and geographic features form the artwork itself, creating a detailed representation of the place — while the layered construction gives the map depth and character.

These maps are ideal for commemorating a hometown, current home, college town, favorite neighborhood, wedding location, first home, family history, or another place with personal meaning.

Customization Options

Additional detail layers (+$25 each, maximum 2) can be used to emphasize waterways, additional road networks, trails, neighborhoods, parks, boundaries, or other meaningful geographic features depending on your location and design.

A solid red oak frame upgrade is available for +$25.
